In a recent episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee , Jerry drives a BMW 2002 tii. Pretty sweet. Anyways, early on in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , he tells his passenger (Kathleen Madigan) that he loves small cars. Right as he says it, a new 2-series convertible passes by.

It looks huge. By comparison, the three people in the 2002 look comically squeezed in. I’m not hating on the new 228 for its size - just thought it was neat to see them side-by-side. They take the “Cars” part of this show pretty seriously, so part of me is wondering if they edited it this way intentionally. When they show clips from outside of the car, they tend to show other cool cars pretty frequently.

100% intentional, I agree. Sometimes Seinfeld even points out the other cars, but even when he doesn’t, the camera crew picks up on them, and like this, they make the final cut, and not by accident.

The one with Sebastian Maniscalco is surprisingly good. He tells a story about his upbringing and pest management that almost had me in tears. For some reason, things are always funnier when I’m listening to them at work and can’t politely bust out into laughter.

Also, the cars are on point this season. ‘65 Mustang Convertible, BMW 2002 Tii, brown 930 Turbo, ‘69 Camaro z/28, and something I’d never seen before: a ‘54 Siata 8v

I’ve been holding off because this is one car-related thing that my wife actually enjoys watching with me. With three kids at home, finding a little bit of time to enjoy watching something together is always a challenge, and we’ve been working through Man in the High Castle in recent weeks. Hopefully I can get in some CiCGC before the new House of Cards season drops - ha!

You, sir, have excellent taste. Man in the High Tower is excellent. Did you know much about it prior to the Amazon show?

Ha - thanks. I knew nothing about it prior. Sounds like I need to read the book.

So, a funny thing: I wrote “Man in the High Tower ” first before second-guessing myself, looking it up, and correcting it to “Castle”. I see that you’ve also written “Tower”. Hahaha!
